Chelsea and Arsenal as well as Manchester United are reportedly eyeing Paris St-Germain defender Thomas Meunier as a possible alternative to Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
Crystal Palace right-back Wan-Bissaka has been outstanding for the Eagles and several clubs are believed to be interested in him.
Manchester City and Liverpool are also among the clubs to be linked with the youngster, who has also been touted as a possible replacement for Kieran Trippier at Tottenham.
The Daily Mirror have picked up on French radio station RMC claiming that Chelsea and Arsenal have now joined United in a race to sign Meunier.
The Belgium international is said to have been identified by the clubs as another option should they miss out on Wan-Bissaka.
Palace boss Roy Hodgson has played down speculation that Wan-Bissaka could leave Selhurst Park this summer.
“It is always hard to say whether a player would have their head turned by speculation of that type,” Hodgson said at a recent press conference.
“I don’t believe that an offer has been made and I think this is still speculation.
“I can’t say that I am surprised [about interest from clubs]. I think he is playing so well and he has an incredible future in front of him.
“But he has a four-year contract with us and when we asked him to sign that, we were asking him to be a Crystal Palace player during that time.
“I’ve not seen anything in his performances, or heard anything that causes me to change my mind or have any doubts that he is going to be our player.”
