Paper round-up: Barcelona unwilling to let Arsenal target go

Barcelona do not want to sell Denis Suarez to Arsenal this month, it is claimed.

The Spain midfielder has been been offered to Premier League clubs and a deal has been discussed for him to move to the Emirates Stadium.

The Daily Mirror say Barca are playing hardball and that Arsenal are keen to wrap up a loan deal with a view to a permanent move in the summer.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are set to end their interest in Cengiz Under after having a £35m bid for the Turkey winger rejected by Roma, the Daily Star reckon.

The Sun say Bayern Munich have offered to give Chelsea’s Callum Hudson-Odoi the number 10 shirt worn by Arjen Robben next season after the Dutchman leaves.

Chelsea have reportedly agreed a deal for Davide Zappacosta to move to Lazio. The Sun say the Italian defender will leave on loan with a view to a £13.5m permanent move in the summer.

Chelsea want Monaco to pay £10m for Cesc Fabregas,the Daily Mirror claim.

Aston Villa are preparing a move for Brentford striker Neal Maupay, The Sun say,

Villa’s former Bees boss Dean Smith is said to have targeted the Frenchman as a replacement for Tammy Abraham,

Abraham, currently on loan at Villa from Chelsea, is expected to move to Wolves.

The Sun also reports that Fulham goalkeeper Fabri is set to return to Besiktas just six months after leaving the club to move to Craven Cottage.

And the Daily Telegraph reports that Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson says he has not heard of Josh Maga despite reports linking him with a move for the Sunderland forward.
