Reiss Nelson and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang grabbed the goals as Arsenal ended their pre-season campaign with a 2-0 victory over Lazio in Sweden.
The Gunners included midfielder Lucas Torreira from the start, while fellow new boy Stephan Lichtsteiner came on to make his first appearance.
It was Nelson who followed up to score on the rebound for the first goal against the Italians in Stockholm after Alex Iwobi’s shot hit the post.
Second-half substitute Aubameyang made it 2-0 with a low strike to ensure Unai Emery’s side head into next weekend’s Premier League opener against Manchester City on the back of a victory.
