Arsenal are set to offer teenage striker Eddie Nketiah a new five-year contract, according to The Sun.

The 18-year-old is reportedly in line for a huge pay rise, with a five-year deal that will increase his wages from £2,000 to £15,000 a week.

Nketiah has just one full season left on his current contract at the Emirates Stadium and The Sun say Arsenal are keen to secure his long-term future at the club.

The newspaper say Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is an admirer of the player and that talks over a new contract are due to begin next month.

Meanwhile, The Times reports that Gareth Bale could miss Real Madrid’s Champions League clash with Tottenham at Wembley on Wednesday.

The ex-Spurs star has been troubled by injuries and Real boss Zinedine Zidane is apparently unsure whether Bale will feature against his former club.

And Alan Pardew is a contender for the Glasgow Rangers manager’s job, according to the Scottish Daily Mail.

South Londoner Pardew has been out of work since leaving Crystal Palace last December and is said to be in line for a possible return to management north of the border.

Pardew, who has also managed West Ham and Charlton, is reported to have held talks with Rangers about taking over as boss.
