Lucas Perez wants to leave Arsenal “at all costs”, his agent is reported to have said.
Italian website Calciomercato have reported that Perez’s representative Rodrigo Fernandez Lovelle has stated that the player will leave north London this summer.
He has also apparently suggested that Perez will move on regardless of whether Arsene Wenger stays on as Arsenal manager beyond the end of the season.
Perez, who has been unable to establish himself as a first-team player at the Emirates Stadium, has been touted for a possible move to AC Milan.
“He hasn’t received any offer yet,” Lovelle has been quoted as saying.
“AC Milan is a great club and he likes them very much, even if we’ve never talked with the Rossoneri hierarchy.
“If Lucas leaves London – and he will leave because he’s had no chance with Wenger – he wants to go and play for a big club like Arsenal.
“The truth is that Lucas wants to leave at all costs and is not happy at Arsenal, he hasn’t settled and hasn’t had a chance to play and show what he can do.
“No matter who is the manager in the future, we want to go. The player must have the chance to play.”
Perez, 28, has started just two Premier League matches since being signed from Deportivo in the summer.
