Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin has signed a new long-term contract.
The 21-year-old, currently out with an ankle injury, has established himself as the Gunners’ first-choice right-back over the last 18 months.
Last season he created nine goals, behind only Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez, and in total has made 87 appearances for the club.
The former Barcelona man, who joined Arsenal in 2011, was named in the 2015-16 PFA team of the year and won a call up to the Spain squad for Euro 2016.
Speaking on the club’s official Twitter page, Bellerin said: “This is a really big day for me.
“I’ve been here for a long time, I feel like this is my home. It was the right thing for me to do.
“I’m very happy to still be a Gunner for many more years.”
