Arsenal duo Carl Jenkinson and Cohen Brammall have joined Birmingham City on season-long loan deals.

Jenkinson is not in Gunners boss Arsene Wenger’s plans and has been told he can go.

The 25-year-old defender made only one Premier League appearance for the club last season.

Bramall, 21, joined Arsenal from non-League Hednesford last January and is set to pick up first-team experience in the Championship.

Meanwhile, Arsenal have offered Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain a four-year contract, according to the Daily Star.

The offer has reportedly been made as Chelsea continue to be linked with the England international, whose current contract is due to expire next year.

The Star say he has been offered £125,000 a week by the Gunners.

Leicester City are keen to sign Andros Townsend from Crystal Palace, according to the Daily Mail.

Palace reportedly need to sell in order to buy and are interested in Red Bull Leipzig’s former Nottingham Forest youngster Oliver Burke.

And the Daily Telegraph reports that West Ham manager Slaven Bilic is not expecting to sign a new centre-back despite his team’s defensive frailties.
