Speculation continues over the future of highly-rated Charlton youngster Ademola Lookman.
The Daily Mirror say Everton have joined an apparent race to sign Lookman, who has been linked with several other clubs in recent months.
Those clubs include Arsenal, who are said to be keen on the England Under-20 forward.
Manchester City and Liverpool are also reported to be interested in Lookman, 19, and were linked with him during the summer transfer window.
The Mirror say Everton are planning to move for him when the window reopens in January.
Speculation that the Merseyside club could look to sign Lookman has been fuelled by their appointment of Steve Walsh as director of football.
The player is said to have been on Leicester’s radar when Walsh was their head of the recruitment.
The Mirror also say Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin has signed a lucrative new six-year contract at the Emirates Stadium.
The deal is worth more than £100,000 a week and will see him net more than £30m including bonuses and add-ons, the Mirror say.
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola was keen to sign the 21-year-old, it is claimed.
