Idrissa Sylla has been passed fit to rejoin the QPR squad for tonight’s derby against Fulham at Loftus Road.

The striker missed this week’s 1-1 draw at Barnsley with a knee problem but has returned to training and is available again.

Steven Caulker was recalled to the side against Barnsley and could retain his place for the visit of the Whites.

Caulker’s return along with Joel Lynch is timely for Rangers given that James Perch, Grant Hall and Nedum Onuoha are all sidelined.

R’s boss Ian Holloway is in bullish mood ahead of the game and says he wants his side to take the game to Fulham.

“I can’t wait for this game,” Holloway told QPR’s website.

“We are going to try to really get at Fulham – not because it’s a local derby but because that’s our style. We want to develop into a team that doesn’t give you much time, that disrupts you, that pins you in.

“Look at this game last season and our opening goal from Ryan Manning – that came from us pressing and closing down.

“Fulham have been in the Premier League in recent years like we have, so the expectation of their fans is similar to ours – so what a wonderful night to look forward to!”
