Chelsea are again being linked with a possible move for Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sane.
The Germany international has been linked with Chelsea and other Premier League clubs and continues to be touted for a return to England.
He joined Bayern from Manchester City last year and there has been speculation that he could attract a big-money bid.
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is said to be an admirer of his fellow German, who was popular among City fans during his time at the Etihad Stadium.
Arsenal and Tottenham have also been linked with Sane, but Chelsea would have an obvious advantage were they to target him in January given that they are in the Champions League and likely to be competing for the Premier League title.
And the Express suggest Chelsea could offer Bayern a player in exchange in order to get a deal done.
Christian Pulisic, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Hakim Ziyech are mentioned as possible makeweights.
Pulisic has played in Germany before, for Borussia Dortmund, while Bayern are known to be interested in Hudson-Odoi, having previously unsuccessfully tried to sign him.
Hudson-Odoi ended up staying at Stamford Bridge during the recent transfer window but his situation might be reviewed in January if he is struggling to secure first-team football.
