Crystal Palace are among clubs being linked with a move for Manchester United winger Daniel James.
The Eagles, Leeds United, Everton and Brighton are all keen on the Wales international, according to the Daily Star.
It comes amid speculation that United could now be willing to sell or loan out James following the recent return of Cristiano Ronaldo to Old Trafford from Juventus.
Palace boss Patrick Vieira is confident the club will add to his squad before the transfer window closes on Tuesday night.
The Frenchman is looking to add his attacking options in particular and James would appear to fit the bill.
Speaking at his post-match press conference after the 2-2 draw at West Ham, Vieira said: “We know the market is still open and we are working to improve the threat. We will do that.”
It has been a tough start for former Arsenal star Vieira at Palace but he is confident results will improve.
“It’s still going to take time. I think we have to realise the changes going on at our football club,” he said.
“The process of building a team that can challenge in the Premier League takes time. The team is improving game after game.”
