West Ham and Leicester are reported to be leading a race to sign Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham.
The England international was left out of the squad for Saturday’s FA Cup semi-final against Manchester City.
That has inevitably fuelled speculation about his future, with reports suggesting he could be on this way out of Stamford Bridge.
The Guardian reports that Leicester and West Ham are interested in signing him this summer.
Chelsea players were reportedly shocked by Thomas Tuchel’s decision to omit Abraham.
He is fit after a recent ankle problem but continues to be overlooked by Blues boss Tuchel, whose team won 1-0 at Wembley to secure a place in next month’s final.
The Telegraph say Abraham’s omission caused shock in the dressing room.
Tuchel gave a diplomatic answer when asked about his decision to not even include Abraham among his permitted nine substitutes.
He said: “There isn’t much on Tammy but he’s lost a little bit of confidence recently and we’ve taken the hard decision to leave him out.
“It was a tough decision but we decided to go with Timo (Werner) and with Kai (Havertz) and Oli Giroud from the bench.”
Speaking at his post-match press conference, Tuchel said he was “happy and proud” of Chelsea’s display after they ended City’s hopes of the quadruple.
Hakim Ziyech’s goal 10 minutes into the second half was enough to clinch a deserved victory.
Tuchel added: “We were very self-confident and very brave with the ball.
“We deserved the win. We were very active. We did not get passive.
“We are very happy with the performance and it will be a huge boost for our confidence and development.”
