West Ham and Crystal Palace appear to be leading the race to sign Ebere Eze from QPR.
West London Sport and subsequently numerous other sources have reported that the Hammers have indicated that they are interested in the exciting forward.
Hammers boss David Moyes and his assistant Alan Irvine were at Loftus Road on Saturday to see Eze in action.
He scored in a 4-3 win over Millwall, taking his goal tally for the season to 13.
Tottenham have been widely linked with the forward, who has been superb in the Championship this season.
But West London Sport say that until West Ham’s recent overtures that the only solid interest in the player has been from Crystal Palace.
West London Sport reported in April 2018 that Palace had begun monitoring Eze and said in January that the Eagles had had an approach for him rejected.
QPR director of football Les Ferdinand later confirmed to the Evening Standard that an offer for Eze from Palace was turned down.
But Palace have remained interested and it does seem a question of when rather than if the talented Eze moves up to the Premier League.
Moyes will no doubt have been impressed with the skilful 22-year-old, who has been a revelation since moving to Rangers after being released by Millwall.
