Achraf Hakimi says he will discuss his future with Real Madrid soon amid speculation over his future.
The right-back has been on loan at Borussia Dortmund and reports have suggested he could be playing in London next season.
Chelsea have reportedly held talks about a potential deal to sign Hakimi and Arsenal are among the other clubs to have been linked with a move for him.
And the player expects a decision to be made on his future in due course.
“Who does not like it [being linked with clubs]? I am proud of what I am doing,” he told Cadena SER, as reported by Metro.
“In June I will have to make a decision and it will be a great step for my career.
“In theory, my contract ends in June and from there I have to return to Madrid.
“I have not yet had contact with Madrid on this matter, but I imagine that soon we will have some conversation to find out what is best for me.”
Hakimi has impressed for Dortmund but the German club reportedly did not agree an option to buy him as part of the loan deal.
That could pave the way for him to move elsewhere when the transfer window reopens.
He certainly looks likely to leave Real, with reports in Spain suggesting the club are ready to let him go.
