QPR star Ebere Eze is in no rush to make a decision on his international future.
Eze has played for England at Under-21 and Under-20 levels but also qualifies for Nigeria, who are keen for him to play for them.
“I’m very happy to be part of England’s youth set-up right now, but I enjoyed training with Nigeria,” Eze told FourFourTwo magazine, as reported by the Star.
“It’s a privilege to be involved with both, but I don’t want to make a decision yet – I just need to focus on QPR.”
The Star describe Eze as “9m-rated” – which his club and certainly many Rangers fans would disagree with.
QPR want £20m-plus
Reports suggest QPR want at least £20m for the forward, who has been linked with several clubs, including Tottenham, West Ham, Chelsea and Crystal Palace.
Spurs have long been linked with Eze, while West London Sport reported in January that Palace had had an approach for him rejected – which R’s director of football Les Ferdinand has since confirmed.
Football Insider this week suggested that West Ham are considering a move for Eze, who was picked up by QPR in 2016 after being released by Millwall.
QPR first-team coach Neil Banfield recently admitted that Eze and team-mates Bright Osayi-Samuel and Ilias Chair are likely to move on – for the right price.
“If the offers come in of £20m and £20m-plus, I don’t think there would be many clubs that could turn that down,” Banfield told West London Sport.
