Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino lauded his players after their fourth straight Premier League win took them 10 points clear of fifth place and kept pace with Premier League leaders Manchester City and Liverpool.
Goals from Davinson Sanchez, Christian Eriksen and Heung min Son gave them a 3-1 win over Leicester, for whom Jamie Vardy scored but also had a penalty saved by Huge Lloris.
The outstanding Eriksen provided a pin-point cross to set up Sanchez’s first Tottenham goal after 33 minutes, before scoring himself with a strike from the edge of the area in the second half.
The performance and result delighted Pochettino – but he was not pleased about referee Michael Oliver booking Son.
