Tony Fernandes has insisted Leeds United player Kalvin Phillips ought to have been punished for the challenge which has ruled Geoff Cameron out for a lengthy spell.
QPR’s on-loan Stoke midfielder suffered ankle ligament damage as a result of a crude challenge from Phillips at Elland Road last weekend.
Phillips escaped without punishment – much to the anger of Rangers co-owner Fernandes, who made his feelings clear on Twitter.
Why has nothing been done to the leeds player who fouled Cameron badly after the whistle had gone. Clearly shown on TV. Disappointed. What do refs do?

QPR face being without Cameron, Tomer Hemed and Angel Rangel for a big chunk of the season.
The loss of on-loan duo Cameron and Hemed is a big blow for Rangers as their arrivals sparked an upturn in results after a terrible start under Steve McClaren.
Rangel has also made a big impact since being brought to Loftus Road in August, so McClaren now faces a major headache.
Striker Hemed continues to struggle with a groin problem, while Cameron and Rangel were both injured during the recent defeat at Leeds.
Veteran defender Rangel faces eight weeks out with a torn thigh tendon. He has only just had his contract extended until the end of the season, having impressed since being brought in as short-term cover while Darnell Furlong was out with a knee injury.
The news could impact upon three other QPR players – perhaps for the better.
West London Sport reports that as well as Furlong now being set to return to the side, QPR were planning to loan out young right-back Osman Kakay in January but could have a rethink in light of Rangel’s injury.
And what about Ryan Manning?
The midfielder has impressed since joining Rotherham on a season-long loan from the R’s, who have the option of recalling him in January.
With Cameron injured, it’s an option they will surely be tempted to take up.
