There continues to be much speculation over the future of Chelsea star Eden Hazard.
The Belgian has not been slow to stoke that speculation – and more recent comments from him have cast new doubt on whether he will be at Chelsea much longer.
In fact his comments have even led to bookmakers Ladbrokes slashing the odds on him joining another English club, the Mirror reports.
Real Madrid remain the odds-on favourites to sign Hazard, who has made no secret of his desire to play for the Spanish club.
But Ladbrokes have cut the odds on him being reunited with former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho at Manchester United to just 11/2.
And could Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola be tempted to make a move for Hazard? The odds on him joining the defending Premier League champions have been moved in to 10/1.
It comes after Hazard remarked that City are “better at a lot of things” than Chelsea.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Hazard’s recent comments won’t have gone down well with Chelsea fans but he could soon become public enemy number one in West London with a surprise move to United or City potentially on the cards.”
Hazard’s contract runs until 2020 and a move will be on the cards in the summer if he does not agree to sign a new deal.
But could he really join a Premier League rival? It seems more than unlikely.
