Luke Freeman has signed a new contract and two other QPR players are set to sign new deals.
The Championship club want to extend Angel Rangel’s short-term contract, with the veteran right-back having impressed since joining the club in August.
And West London Sport reports that Osman Kakay, also a right-back, is set to sign a new contract at Loftus Road.
Kakay, 21, has made 11 first-team appearances for the R’s and his current deal is due to expire at the end of the season.
Rangers are looking for him to re-sign until 2021 – when Freeman is now under contract until after pledging his future to the club.
Middlesbrough were among clubs keen on Freeman and offers for him were rejected during the summer transfer window.
More approaches were expected when the window reopens in January, but Freeman has been persuaded to put pen to paper and end speculation over his future.
It is a further boost for Rangers, who have been enjoying a fine run under manager Steve McClaren, losing just three of the 14 league matches since being beaten in his opening four in charge.
They travel to Rotherham United this evening in ninth position and just four points away from the Championship play-off places.
