Mauricio Pochettino has indicated that players will leave Tottenham before the end of the month.

The transfer window is closed in England but remains open in other parts of Europe until 31 August, meaning Premier League players can still be sold or loaned to clubs on the Continent until then.

There continues to be speculation over the futures of Spurs’ duo Toby Alderweireld and Danny Rose, who have both been linked with Paris St-Germain this week.

Sky Sports have also suggested that Georges-Kevin N’Koudou could be on his way to German side Mainz on loan.

And Spurs manager Pochettino has made it clear that he will look to ship out players who want to leave.

“Maybe, yes, we are going to see if some players believe that they can achieve their goals in another club,” he said.

“Maybe they are going to move. Different individual things can happen in the next few weeks.

“If some player is not happy because he needs to play or believes he can play more at another team, or needs to change the environment, or needs a new challenge or motivation, I told them that I am open to find the solution.

“It is so clear the rules. It is so clear my message. I promise I am going to fix it if someone is not happy to be here for the next five months until the transfer window opens again.

“All people here need to feel they can be part of the team, and help the team any time the manager commands.”

Pochettino was speaking at a press conference ahead of Saturday’s London derby against Fulham at Wembley.
