Tottenham are reportedly optimistic that manager Mauricio Pochettino and six of his players will sign new contracts at the club in the next few months.
The Daily Telegraph say Pochettino, Dele Alli, Harry Kane, Jan Vertonghen, Hugo Lloris, Son Heung-min Son and Christian Eriksen are all expected to sign new deals.
The newspaper say Spurs expect Pochettino to commit his future to them by signing a contract worth around £8.5m a year – as long as Real do not make a serious move for him.
Pochettino is one of several managers to have been touted as a possible replacement for Zinedine Zidane at Real this summer.
Meanwhile, Paris St-Germain are prepared to offer Tottenham defender Toby Alderweireld the wages he wants, according to the Daily Mail.
Contract talks with Alderweireld appears to have stalled and he is reportedly looking for a five-year deal worth close to £200,000 per week, which Spurs are said to be unwilling to offer him.
Alderweireld fears he is being frozen out of Spurs after failing to agree a new contract, the Daily Mirror say.
Manchester United and Barcelona are also reported to be interested in signing the Belgium international, who has also been linked with Chelsea in recent weeks.
