United decide against move for Arnautovic – report

There continues to be speculation over the future of West Ham star Marko Arnautovic.

Manchester United have recently been tipped to make an offer for the Austrian forward, who has also been linked with Chelsea.

Now the Daily Telegraph say United boss Jose Mourinho is interested in Arnautovic but that he will not be making a bid for him in January.

Instead, United will apparently continue to monitor Arnautovic for the rest of the season and might make an offer for him then. Or might not.

His brother Danijel, who also acts as his agent, has been touting him for a move, recently declaring that the striker “needs to play at a top team” and is “ready for the next step”.

There has also been speculation over the future of Hammers defender Declan Rice.

The Guardian say West Ham are prepared to wait until the summer to discuss a new contract with the 19-year-old, who has been linked with a number of clubs.

Rice’s representatives have reportedly pushed for a basic wage of £30,000 a week after apparently being offered £15,000 a week plus lucrative appearance bonuses.

The Guardian also say West Ham are willing to listen to offers for Reece Oxford in January.
