The Daily Mirror say Crystal Palace and West Ham are rivals for the signing of Bournemouth’s Harry Arter.

The Mirror recently linked West Ham with the midfielder and now say Palace are also interested.

Eagles boss Roy Hodgson is said to be keen to improve his squad during the January transfer window.

The Mirror also say Hammers boss David Moyes singled Andy Carroll out for criticism in the dressing room after the recent defeat at Watford.

West Ham asked to be given an away fixture on Boxing Day because nearby Stratford station would have been unable to cope with the amount of fans and shoppers, according to the Daily Telegraph.

Meanwhile, Liverpool have reportedly approached Paris St-Germain about a potential January loan move for Julian Draxler.

It comes after reports that Arsenal have made an approach to take the German on loan.

It is now claimed that he is also a target for Liverpool, with the Daily Mail picking up on a story by French publication L’Equipe suggesting that the player could move to Anfield.

And The Independent reports that Eden Hazard will make a decision on his future at the end of the season.

The Chelsea star, who has been linked with a move to Real Madrid, told French television station Canal+: “The moment to leave will be when I want to leave.

“I want to finish this year and then we will see what happens. Everybody knows the admiration that I have for Real Madrid.

“But for the moment I am Blues. Each year people say stuff about Eden, and each year I have always stayed at the club.”
