Paper round-up: Arsenal and West Ham both keen on Spanish midfielder

Arsenal and West Ham are reportedly interested in Villarreal midfielder Pablo Fornals.

The Spaniard’s performances this season have led to speculation that he could move during the January window.

And both Arsenal and the Hammers are keen to snap him up, according to Spanish newspaper Sport, as reported by Talksport.

Meanwhile, The Sun say Arsenal have opened talks over a deal for Paris St-Germain midfielder Christopher Nkunku.

Tottenham are ready to pay £20m for PSG’s Adrien Rabiot, again according to The Sun.

It follows reports in France that Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino wants the France international and has held talks with him.

Rabiot’s contract at PSG is due to expire at the end of the season and he has long been linked with a move to the Premier League.

The Sun say Barcelona have made him a pre-contract offer but that nothing has been signed and that PSG would rather accept £20m for him before Thursday’s deadline than lose him on a free transfer this summer.

West Brom want Fulham duo Aboubakar Kamara and Stefan Johansen on loan, according to the Daily Mirror.

And Crystal Palace are set to re-sign winger Bakary Sako from West Brom six months after his departure from Selhurst Park, The Guardian reports.
