There is again speculation about Slaven Bilic’s position following West Ham’s disappointing start to the season.

The Daily Mirror claim the club are already looking at possible replacements for the Croatian and that Newcastle boss Rafael Benitez is liked by the Hammers hierarchy.

It comes as there is also speculation over Benitez’s future, with the Spaniard reported to be frustrated at Newcastle’s summer transfer dealings.

He was linked with West Ham last season, when there were also reports that Bilic’s position was under threat.

The Mirror also claim Lille are ready to make Chelsea an offer for Michy Batshuayi.

The French outfit are said to be willing to pay £36m for the Belgian striker, who has been linked with several clubs in recent months.

Meanwhile, Leeds United and Celtic want to sign Arsenal youngster Chuba Akpom, The Sun say.

Forward Akpom, 21, is said to have decided that the time is right to move on after being unable to establish himself as a first-team player at Arsenal.

He has made just four appearances for the Gunners and has had loan spells at Brentford, Coventry City, Nottingham Forest, Hull City and Brighton.

The Sun say Leeds want him to replace Chris Wood, who has signed for Burnley, and that Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers is also keen.
