Speculation continues over the future of Arsenal duo Mezut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez.
Arsenal are in talks with both players with a view to extending their contracts at the Emirates Stadium, where their current deals are due to expire in 2018.
With neither having yet agreed new terms, there are inevitably reports of rival clubs circling.
The Daily Express declare that Arsenal are set for “crunch talks” with Ozil and that Manchester United are keen on the German.
The Sun, meanwhile, have picked up on the fact that Manchester City are the bookmakers’ favourites to sign Sanchez.
It follows recent reports linking the Chile forward with a possible move to Eastlands – he previously played under City boss Pep Guardiola at Barcelona.
Juventus have also been linked with a move for the player, who is 2/1 with Ladbrokes to join City in 2017.
Ladbrokes News’ Dave Burin is quoted by The Sun as saying: “Man City could be set to boost their title hopes and weaken Arsenal’s with a swoop for Sanchez.
“Relations between these clubs could become very Chile indeed.”
The Sun also say contract talks between Tottenham and Harry Kane have been put on hold and that the striker’s future at White Hart Lane is in doubt.
And the Daily Mail reports that West Ham youngster Reece Oxford is set to sign a new five-year contract.
