Paper round-up: Ancelotti reportedly wants Luiz and Ogbonna

Napoli boss Carlo Ancelotti wants West Ham’s Angelo Ogbonna as well as David Luiz, according to the Daily Mirror.

Ex-Chelsea boss Ancelotti is reportedly keen to sign Luiz from his former club – the Brazilian’s future at Stamford Bridge has been in doubt for some time – and is said to be ready to offer Ogbonna a move too.

The Mirror say Chelsea are ready to sell Luiz as they are closing in on a £35m deal for Juventus defender Daniele Rugani.

The Mirror also say Boca Juniors are looking to complete a £6m deal to sign goalkeeper David Ospina from Arsenal.

The Daily Express say Chelsea have opened talks with France midfielder N’Golo Kante over a new contract worth around £200,000 a week.

The Sun say Chelsea fear Real Madrid will now make a move for Eden Hazard after selling Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus.

And the Daily Star insist Robert Lewandowski still wants to leave Bayern Munich.

German newspaper Bild reported that the striker, who has been linked with Chelsea, is set to stay put.

The Star quotes a source as saying: “Bild published a fake story saying Robert is now ready to stay.

“Nothing has changed, Robert wishes to leave and Bayern refuse to sell. He will keep pushing to go.”
