Crystal Palace are ready to launch a daring bid to sign Germany keeper Kevin Trapp from Paris Saint-Germain, according to The Sun on Sunday.

The newspaper say Eagles boss Roy Hodgson has made an approach for Trapp, who is being kept out of the PSG side by Alphonse Areola.

Hodgson is said to be keen to sign a new keeper and it is claimed that Trapp would be interested in a move to England.

Meanwhile, there continues to be speculation over the future of Tottenham defender Danny Rose.

Manchester United have been linked with the England left-back, who has been tipped to leave Spurs during the January transfer window.

The Daily Star Sunday claim he would be sold if an offer of £45m is received and that United could face competition from Everton as well as Manchester City.

It comes amid reports that Everton’s owners plan to spend big when the window opens.

The Sunday Mirror, on the other hand, say Tottenham want £50m for Rose.

The cost of Tottenham’s new stadium has risen from £400m to £1b, according to the Mail on Sunday.

Arsenal have again been linked with Schalke and Germany midfielder Leon Goretzka, who is out of contract in the summer.

The Mail on Sunday say the Gunners and Manchester United are keen on Goretzka.

And The Sun on Sunday say Chelsea would rather let keeper Thibaut Courtois leave on a free transfer at the end of his contract in 2019 than sell him next year.
