Tottenham have again been linked with highly-rated Sheffield United midfielder David Brooks.

The Daily Express say Spurs and Liverpool are both showing an interest in the 20-year-old Wales international ahead of possible moves.

The initial story came from the Daily Mirror, which recently linked both clubs with the youngster.

There continues to be speculation over the future of Danny Rose, who has been linked with a move to Manchester United.

The Sun say Rose was furious at being left out for Saturday’s north London derby against Arsenal and that United are ready to snap him up.

The Daily Mirror say England left-back Rose will be recalled by Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino for this week’s Champions League game against Borussia Dortmund.

The Mirror also say Chelsea and Arsenal are among Premier League clubs interested in Schalke’s Germany midfielder Leon Goretzka, whose contract expires at the end of the season.

Manchester City and Liverpool have also been linked with Gortzka, who will potentially be available on a Bosman free transfer.

And German newspaper Bild has reported that Arsenal will pay Borussia Dortmund around £1.8m to capture scout Sven Mislintat as their head of recruitment.

The highly regarded Mislintat, 45, has been dubbed ‘Diamond Eye’ because of his ability to spot talent.
