Tottenham are ready to drop their interest in Bordeaux forward Malcom but Arsenal are still interested, according to the Daily Mail.

It comes amid reports that the French club want £45m for the 20-year-old if they are to sell during this month’s transfer window.

The Mail say this has prompted Spurs to step away and prioritise other targets but that Arsenal are still keen.

Meanwhile, Tottenham are lining up contract talks with Christian Eriksen and Heung-min Son, according to the Daily Mirror.

West Ham are prepared to listen to offers for Javier Hernandez but the striker is not tempted by a move to new MLS team Los Angeles FC, the Mail say.

West Ham boss David Moyes wants the January transfer window reduced to a week, The Times reports.

A number of newspapers report that Antonio Conte has no intention of resigning and that Chelsea will have to sack him if they want him out.

And the Daily Telegraph say Conte wants Chelsea to try to sign Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal and is frustrated they appear to not be looking to do so.

It comes after Conte said: “It is a good investment. We are talking about a top player and you can buy him for a price not so high.

“The amount is around £20m. Maybe a normal price for Alexis Sánchez is €80-90m. This is my opinion.”
