Millwall are chasing a deal to sign Aston Villa centre-back Tommy Elphick, according to The Sun.

The Sun say the Lions and Leeds United are keen to sign the 30-year-old, who is out of favour at Villa.

Elphick has made just four Championship appearances this season, although all of them have come in the last few weeks.

Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund want £60m plus Olivier Giroud in order to sell striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to Arsenal or they will put the deal off until the summer, the Daily Mirror say.

The Daily Mail reports that Crystal Palace have opened talks with Inter Milan over an £8.5m deal to sign Italy forward Eder.

According to various reports, Chelsea are close to completing the signings of former Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko and Brazilian left-back Emerson Palmieri from Roma.

And there is fresh speculation over the future of Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.

It comes after Real Madrid, who have long been linked with the Belgian, apparently missed out on the signing of Athletic Bilbao keeper Kepa Arrizabalaga.

Real were apparently keen to sign Arrizabalaga, who has signed a new contract.

A number of newspapers, including the Daily Telegraph, suggest this could put Courtois’ future in doubt.

It is claimed that Real do not want him to sign a new contract at Stamford Bridge and could make a move to sign him.
