Sky Sports News say Barcelona are showing an interest in Arsenal transfer target Thomas Lemar.

It comes amid reports that Arsenal remain in talks with Monaco after having offers for the France international turned down.

Reports say Arsenal are prepared to pay £50m for Lemar but Monaco have refused to sell, and Sky believe Barcelona are launching a rival bid.

Meanwhile, the Daily Mirror say Alexis Sanchez is ready to accept Arsenal’s refusal to sell him and will see out the final year of his contract before leaving on a free transfer next summer.

Tottenham have targeted Valencia right-back Joao Cancelo, the Daily Mail say.

Cancelo, 23, has been linked with a move to Juventus, who are looking to replace Dani Alves and are reportedly willing to pay Valencia £25m.

The Mail say Spurs are also in the running to sign the Portugal Under-21 international.

Manager Mauricio Pochettino is reported to have sent scouts to Poland to watch him play at this summer’s Under-21 European Championship.

Tottenham have been tipped to sign a right-back following the departure of Kyle Walker to Manchester City.

They have been linked with Cancelo after Kieran Trippier suffered an ankle injury during a pre-season friendly against Juventus.

And Chelsea have again been tipped to move for Southampton defender Virgil van Dijk.

The Mirror say Chelsea plan to table a £60m bid for the Netherlands international.

It comes after Blues boss Antonio Conte reiterated after Sunday’s Community Shield against Arsenal that he is keen to make further signings.

The Mirror declare that Conte “fired yet another SOS to the Chelsea board for new signing” and that the club will make a move for Van Dijk “to ease Conte’s frustrations.”
