Paper round-up: Gunners ready to sell Gibbs for £8m, People say

The Sunday People say Arsenal are prepared to sell Kieran Gibbs for £8m and that Newcastle are keen to sign the left-back.

Meanwhile, West Ham are ready to make a £15m move for Andre Gray, the Sunday Mirror say.

The former Brentford striker has a year remaining on his contract at Burnley and is reportedly looking for a big pay rise in order to sign a new deal at Turf Moor.

He is among a host of strikers West Ham have been linked with in recent months.

Another is Bayer Leverkusen’s former Manchester United man Javier Hernandez.

The Sunday People claim the Hammers are ready to meet a £13m release clause in Hernandez’s contract – which has a year left to run.

The Mexican is reported to be keen to return to the Premier League.

The Sunday Mirror say Antonio Rudiger, who has been linked with a move to Chelsea, is wanted by Manchester City.

And Spanish newspaper AS say Chelsea striker Diego Costa is set to rejoin Atletico Madrid even though he would not be able to play for them until January because of their transfer ban.

There has been speculation that he could make a loan move until January, but AS say that will not be the case and that Costa is keen to return to his former club as soon as possible.
