Injury-time goal gives Tottenham youngsters victory against West Ham

An injury-time penalty by Kazaiah Sterling gave Tottenham’s youngsters a 2-1 victory against West Ham in the Under-18 Premier League.

Tashan Oakley-Boothe gave Spurs the lead before Jahmal Hector-Ingram equalised for the visitors seven minutes before half-time after being set up by Anthony Scully.

West Ham threatened in the second half but Tottenham won it when Sterling netted from the spot after Jonathan Dinzeyi had been fouled by Rosaire Longelo.

Meanwhile, Chelsea’s Under-18s, who lead the table, beat Southampton 4-1, with Charlie Brown scoring twice and Callum Hudson-Odoi also netting. The other Blues goal was an an own goal by Christoph Klarer.

And Reece York’s first-half goal gave Fulham’s Under-18s a 1-0 win at home to Leicester.
