Spurs linked with Hull defender Maguire

Tottenham want Hull City defender Harry Maguire, the Daily Star say.

Everton and Southampton are also said to be interested in the 23-year-old centre-back, whose excellent recent form has led to speculation over his future.

The Star claim Spurs are keen on him and that this could spark a bidding war in the summer.

Hull are said to value former Sheffield United defender Maguire at around £15m.

The Star reckon injuries to Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen this season, plus apparent doubts over the future of Kevin Wimmer, have prompted Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino to look into signing a defender.

The newspaper adds that Hull are reluctant to sell but could be forced to do so because Maguire’s current contract expires in 2018.

Meanwhile, Moussa Sissoko is a target for AC Milan, according to the Daily Mirror.

The France midfielder, 27, has failed to impress since his summer move to Tottenham from Newcastle, making just six Premier League starts.

Milan are said to be among a number of clubs monitoring his situation.

And the Daily Mail say Tottenham are confident of a deal to sign teenage left-back Ryan Sessegnon from Fulham.

Chelsea are also said to be interested in the 16-year-old, who has been linked with several top clubs in recent months.
