There continues to be speculation over the futures of Tottenham duo Toby Alderweireld and Danny Rose.

Alderweireld was linked with Manchester United during this summer’s transfer window and the The Sun say the Old Trafford club will target him when the window reopens in January.

The Belgian defender will then have six months remaining on his contract and The Sun say United believe they could get him for a knockdown price.

Rose, who was also previously linked with United, now continues to be linked with Paris St-Germain, who are said to be interested in the England left-back.

While the transfer window is closed in England, it remains open until the end of the month in other parts of Europe, meaning Premier League players can still be loaned or sold to clubs on the Continent until then.

The Daily Mirror say PSG are keen to push through a pre-deadline deal to sign Rose, although the French club are said to be unlikely to be able to make a move until they know the outcome of an UEFA enquiry into their spending.

Meanwhile, the Daily Mail say Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is willing to sell Rose despite the fact that the window being closed means Spurs would be unable to bring in a replacement.
