Tottenham tipped to beat Chelsea and Man Utd to signing of Ake

Tottenham will table a £40m bid for Bournemouth’s former Chelsea defender Nathan Ake, according to The Sun on Sunday.

Chelsea reportedly have a buy-back option on Ake and are keen to use it, while Manchester United have also been linked with the 24-year-old Dutchman.

But with Chelsea facing a transfer ban, The Sunday on Sunday say Spurs are favourites to snap Ake up this summer.

Spurs are also said to be interested in Ake’s Cherries team-mates Callum Wilson and David Brooks.

Meanwhile, Tottenham’s Eric Dier is among players Manchester United are considering as a possible replacement for Nemanja Matic at Old Trafford, according to The Sunday Times.

The Sunday Express say United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could target Spurs’ Toby Alderweireld if he misses out on Ajax star Matthijs de Ligt.

Manchester City are close to beating Chelsea to the signing of Millwall youngster Samuel Edozie, The Sun on Sunday say.

The Mail on Sunday say Chelsea have revived their interest in Bayer Leverkusen winger Leon Bailey.

West Ham want to keep Michail Antonio amid interest from Crystal Palace, The Sun on Sunday say.

Arsenal want to sign forward Alexis Claude-Maurice from French Ligue 2 side FC Lorient, the Daily Star Sunday claim.

And the Sunday Mirror reports that Arsenal are unlikely to sign a goalkeeper this summer despite Petr Cech’s retirement.
