Paper round-up: Tottenham and Man Utd could both miss out on Whites star

Tottenham and Manchester United could both miss out on Ryan Sessegnon, The Sun say.

The newspaper declare that Spurs and United “face a race against time” to sign the teenager before he moves to Italy.

It is claimed that Sessegnon, who has a year remaining on his Fulham contract, could hold talks with Inter Milan in January if he is not snapped up before then.

German club Borussia Dortmund are also reported to be interested in Sessegnon, who has also been linked with Liverpool.

The Sun also say Tottenham will demand Spain winger Marco Asensio as part of an exchange deal if Real Madrid make a move for Christian Eriksen.

The Daily Telegraph say Spurs expect expect Juventus to make a bid for Kieran Trippier and are willing to sell the England right-back for around £25m.

Meanwhile, Fulham want Newcastle striker Dwight Gayle, the Daily Mail reports.

It is claimed that West Ham are among Premier League clubs interested in former Spurs and Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor.

Adebayor, 35, is a free agent after being released by Turkish club Istanbul Basaksehi.

The Sun claim West Ham, Watford and Sheffield United are interested in bringing him back to England and that there is also interest from Scottish champions Celtic.

Arsenal have had a £15m bid for Celtic’s Scotland left-back Scott Tierney rejected, also according to The Sun.

Atletico Madrid are interested in Arsenal’s Hector Bellerin and will offer winger Vitolo in exchange, the Daily Telegraph say.

Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny is wanted by Lyon, the Daily Mail say.

The Sun say Crystal Palace want Manchester United to pay £45m up front for right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

Derby have made Frank Lampard a huge financial offer in an attempt to keep him at Pride Park, the Daily Mirror claim.

Chelsea legend Lampard has been widely tipped to leave his job as Derby manager and take over as Blues boss following Maurizio Sarri’s recent departure for Juventus.

The Mirror declare that the Championship club “have launched a last-ditch attempt” to keep Lampard and are offering him a four-year contract worth £10m.

The Sun have picked up reports in Willian’s native Brazil that he has been offered £230,000 a week, a flat and two cars with drivers to leave Chelsea for Chinese side Shanghai Shenhua this summer.

And the Daily Star say Chelsea will not make a decision on the future of Kurt Zouma until a new manager is in place at Stamford Bridge.

The defender spent last season on loan at Everton, who are keen to sign him on a permanent deal.
