Serbia star Jović could join Chelsea or Tottenham – reports

Luka Jović could join Chelsea or Tottenham this summer, according to the reports.

Jović is in hot water with Real Madrid after defying the club’s order to their players to self-isolate due to the coronavirus outbreak.

He instead returned to his native Serbia and has since apologised for his actions.

Reports in Spain suggest Real are so angry with the forward that they intend to offload him at the end of the season.

And the Daily Mirror say Chelsea and Spurs will be offered the chance to sign him in the summer.

Both London clubs were previously linked with Jović, who has failed to impress since moving to Real from Benfica last year.

Is Jović  heading to London?

Jović would certainly fit the bill in terms of what Chelsea are looking for.

Blues boss Frank Lampard has made no secret of his desire to sign a striker, having tried in vain to bolster his attacking options during the January transfer window.

Spurs are also short of attacking options at the moment, although the return to fitness of Harry Kane would make all the difference.

Kane has had his fair share of injury problems, though, and boss Jose Mourinho will surely look to bring in at least one striker before next season starts.
