Paper round-up: Pochettino to get £150m to spend

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has reportedly been told that he will get £150m to spend this summer.

The Daily Mail say Pochettino, who has guided Spurs to the semi-finals of the Champions League, has been given the green light to bring players in.

The newspaper say Kieran Trippier is among several players who could leave as part of the overhaul.

Meanwhile, a number of newspapers report that Liverpool are in talks to play a pre-season friendly against Napoli at the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

A series of concerts being held at Anfield mean the re-laying of the pitch will be delayed, so Liverpool are looking for an alternative venue for the game on 28 July.

Arsenal want Fortuna Dusseldorf striker Benito Raman, who could be available for around £13m, The Sun reports.

Metro have picked up on German newspaper Bild reporting that Arsenal are interested in Hoffenheim and Germany forward Kerem Demirbay.

The 25-year-old, who would apparently cost £22m, has been touted as a replacement for the outgoing Aaron Ramsey.

Newspaper reports in Spain claim Real Madrid are close to a deal to sign Eden Hazard from Chelsea.

And the Scottish Sun say Celtic boss Neil Lennon is in the running to take over as Fulham manager, as is Kilmarnock’s Steve Clarke.
