Paper round-up: Man Utd could yet sign Ndombele, reports say

Manchester United could still beat Tottenham to the signing of Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele, it is claimed.

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is keen to sign the 22-year-old and a deal has been agreed in principle with Lyon for him to move to north London.

But he has yet to agree personal terms with Spurs and it is claimed that he could yet end up at Old Trafford.

Metro have picked up on a story by French publication L’Equipe suggesting that United could sign the player if they sell Paul Pogba.

Meanwhile, the Daily Mirror again link Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen with a potential move to United.

The Guardian say Spurs will loan teenage winger Jack Clarke back to Leeds after signing him from the Yorkshire club.

Metro pick up on rumours that Napoli could beat Arsenal to the signing of Celtic defender Kieran Tierney if the Gunners cannot agree a deal.

The Daily Express again link Barcelona winger Malcom with possible moves to Spurs or Arsenal.

The Sun declare that Crystal Palace will not sell Wilfried Zaha to Arsenal because of fears the move could jeopardise a potential takeover at Selhurst Park.

The Times reports that Derby are lining up former Netherlands international Phillip Cocu as a replacement for Frank Lampard, who is set to take over as Chelsea manager.

The Sun link West Ham with a possible move for Valencia forward Rodrigo.

And Real Betis are close to the £25m signing of Fulham striker Aleksander Mitrovic, the Mirror reports.
