Paper round-up: Spurs tipped to complete Grealish deal

Tottenham are again being tipped to complete a deal to sign Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish.

The Daily Mirror say Spurs are expected to finalise the move next week following negotiations between chairman Daniel Levy and Villa.

The Sun say Spurs will snub a race for Wilfried Zaha and launch a bid to sign Grealish instead.

It comes after The Sun linked Zaha with Tottenham and claimed that the winger had told Crystal Palace he wanted to leave.

The Sun also claim Real Madrid are interested in Kieran Trippier and could make Spurs an offer for the England star and that Chelsea are considering offering Manchester City £5m for keeper Joe Hart.

Meanwhile, West Ham are in talks over a £10m move for Atlanta United’s Paraguay midfielder Miguel Almiron, again according to The Sun.

The newspaper say the Hammers face competition from Newcastle and that Atlanta do not want to sell the 24-year-old. Newcastle are said to have also held discussions about a potential deal to sign him.

The Independent reports that Chuba Akpom is set for a £2m move from Arsenal to Belgian side Sint-Truiden, where he was on loan last season.

And Fulham look set to sign Spanish keeper Fabri from Besiktas in a £5m deal are closing in on the signing of Newcastle’s Aleksandar Mitrovic, The Sun reports.
