Paper round-up: London clubs linked with Belgium star

Arsenal, West Ham and Tottenham are among clubs reported to be attempting to sign Monaco midfielder Youri Tielemans on loan.

The Daily Star say Arsenal and West Ham have made an approach for the 21-year-old Belgium star along with Newcastle.

The Times, meanwhile, say Spurs have also joined the race to sign Tielemans but that all those clubs could be beaten to a deal by Leicester City, who are apparently set to offer Adrien Silva to Monaco in exchange.

The Daily Mail say Arsenal’s loan deal for Denis Suarez will include an option to buy him from Barcelona for £20m in the summer.

The Daily Express say Arsenal want Paris St-Germain midfielder Christopher Nkunku but that the French club will only let him go if they sign a replacement.

Borussia Dortmund and Juventus want Andreas Christensen on loan but Chelsea are demanding a £6m loan fee, according to The Sun.

Celta Vigo are refusing to sell striker Maxi Lopez to West Ham, again according to The Sun.

And the Daily Mail reports that Brentford forward Ollie Watkins will escape a ban despite accusations he dived to win a penalty in the FA Cup fourth-round tie at Barnet.

FA disciplinary chiefs are said to have reviewed footage of the incident and decided that no action will be taken.
