Paper round-up: Arsenal and Tottenham again linked with Brazilian forward Malcom

Arsenal and Tottenham are both once again being linked with Brazilian forward Malcom.

The 21-year-old was linked with both north London clubs prior to his summer move to Barca, where he has been unable to make an impact so far.

And the Daily Mirror say Spurs and the Gunners will be “on alert” after reports Malcom is looking for a way out of the Nou Camp in January.

It comes after Mundo Deportivo suggested that the player could move when the transfer window reopens.

Meanwhile, the Daily Mail reports that Arsenal have formally told Aaron Ramsey he will not be offered a new contract.

Ramsey, whose current deal is due to expire at the end of the season, had said that he had been not been personally informed by the club that there would be no contract offer.

The Mail say he has since been informed face-to-face that there will be no offer made.

And Brentford midfielder Lewis Macleod has been linked with Leeds United and his former club Glasgow Rangers.

It comes after West London Sport reported  that Macleod has turned down a contract offer.

The Sun suggest Rangers could be interested in taking Macleod back to Ibrox on a free transfer when his Brentford contract expires next summer and that Leeds are also monitoring developments.
