QPR forward Reece Grego-Cox says he would be interested in another loan move in order to play first-team football.

The 20-year-old has been in good form, scoring a hat-trick for the Republic of Ireland Under-21s last week and also finding the net for Rangers’ Under-23s against Charlton on Monday.

But his first-team chances at Loftus Road currently look limited as he is behind the likes of Conor Washington, Idrissa Sylla and Matt Smith in the pecking order.

Grego-Cox, who spent time on loan at Newport last season, told Rangers’ website: “All I can do is work hard. Whether you are involved in the first team or not, you’ve just go to keep doing what you can to impress.

“I want to play for QPR but what’s more important for me now is to be playing first-team football. If that means going out on loan, then that’s something that I’m interested in doing to help me develop.

“I know I need to play competitive football consistently at the age I am now and at this stage of my career.”

Grego-Cox made his senior debut in a Premier League match against Tottenham in 2014 and has made a total of six first-team appearances for the R’s, with all but one of them coming as a substitute.
