Holloway hints QPR may change style against Wolves

Ian Holloway has suggested QPR will need to adapt their pressing game to avoid being cut open by leaders Wolves this weekend.

Rangers have struggled away from home this season and Championship leaders Wolves are strong favourites to beat them at Molineux.

“Wolves are the most consistent team in the Championship,” Holloway told Rangers’ website.

“They play attractive football, they move the ball well and their manager deserves full credit for that.

“Let’s see if we can go there and pull off something that no-one believes we can. We beat them there last season and I believe we can do it again.

“It’s a big pitch there so we will have to make sure we get tight and get around them

“We will need to be careful with our normal game of pressing and closing everywhere that we don’t get dragged out of position and leave open spaces.”

Rangers will again be without Massimo Luongo as well as the likes of Idrissa Sylla, Paul Smyth, Grant Hall and David Wheeler.

Luongo missed last weekend’s win against Barnsley with a knee injury and has still not recovered.

Sylla still has an ankle problem and Smyth a thigh strain, while Hall and Wheeler will both be out for the rest of the season.
