QPR could add to their squad by signing young midfielder Isaac Christie-Davies from neighbours Chelsea.

West London Sport reports that the 20-year-old is having a trial with Rangers ahead of a possible move to Loftus Road.

Christie-Davies is yet to make senior appearance but has featured for Chelsea’s development side.

Background
Christie-Davies was on the books of Brighton – where he was born – before being snapped up by Chelsea at the age of 11. He is a box-to-box midfielder with an eye for goal.

International recognition
Having made his debut for Chelsea’s youth team at the age of just 15, Christie-Davies was capped by England at Under-16 level before also playing for the Under-17s.

Honours
He has been part of a hugely successful youth set-up at Chelsea, winning the FA Youth Cup in 2015 and 2016 as well as the 2016 UEFA Youth League.
Christie-Davies continued to progress at Under-18 level for Chelsea and has more recently been involved with their development side.

This season
Still awaiting his senior debut, Christie-Davies has made four appearances for Chelsea in this season’s Checkatrade Trophy, the most recent of which came in last month’s 3-0 win over Oxford United at Stamford Bridge. He also featured in the tournament last season.

The future
His Chelsea contract expires at the end of the season, hence why QPR are looking at him. Could a move to W12 be on the cards?
