West Ham v Huddersfield teams: Carroll starts but duo miss out, Terriers have injury problems

Andy Carroll is back in the West Ham starting line-up for the game at the London Stadium – his first appearance of the season.

Carroll has been passed fit to play following a thigh problem, while Winston Reid has recovered from a calf strain.

But Manuel Lanzini and Edimilson Fernandes are injured and Marko Arnautovic is suspended.

Huddersfield also have injury problems. The Terriers are without Jonathan Hogg, Martin Cranie, Collin Quaner, Jon Stanković and on-loan Chelsea youngster Kasey Palmer.
