Crystal Palace striker Christian Benteke is unavailable because of a knee problem for the Premier League trip to Huddersfield, but Wilfried Zaha could be available.

Zaha has returned to training following a groin problem and is being monitored.

Defender James Tomkins (calf) has also stepped up his recovery so could be involved, but Scott Dann (knee) and Connor Wickham (calf) remain unavailable.

Provisional squad: Hennessey, Van Aanholt, Sakho, Schlupp, Wan-Bissaka, Kelly, Milivojevic, Townsend, McArthur, Ayew, Sorloth, Guaita, Ward, Meyer, Kouyate, Puncheon, Riedewald, Zaha, Tomkins.

Huddersfield trio Collin Quaner, Juninho Bacuna and Adama Diakhaby will all be assessed before the game.

Forward Quaner and midfielder Bacuna sustained knocks playing for the under-23s in midweek, while winger Diakhaby is also hoping to overcome a minor problem.

Midfielder Jonathan Hogg is still suspended, but goalkeeper Ben Hamer is expected back in contention after a knee injury and will vie with Jonas Lossl for a starting place.

Provisional squad: Lossl, Hamer, Kongolo, Schindler, Jorgensen, Lowe, Billing, Mooy, Hadergjonaj, Van La Parra, Mounie, Depoitre, Diakhaby, Kachunga, Durm, Williams, Mbenza, Pritchard, Quaner.
