Paper round-up: Arsenal reportedly lead race for Wan-Bissaka

Arsenal are now said to be leading the race for Crystal Palace defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

The likes of Manchester City and Everton have been linked with the England Under-21 international, who has been impressive for the Eagles.

But The Sun on Sunday say Arsenal are now at the front of the queue for Wan-Bissaka and are willing to pay £40m.

The newspaper say Everton are keen on him, that City have been considering him but do not see signing a right-back as a priority, and that there is also interest from Bayern Munich.

The Sun on Sunday also say Palace have been looking at Chelsea youngster Reece James, who is on loan at Wigan, as a potential replacement.

Meanwhile, the Sunday Mirror say Arsenal will offer defender Rob Holding a new contract.

The Daily Star Sunday say Arsenal are set to hire Roma sporting director Monchi when his contract expires at the end of June.

The Sunday Mirror say Arsenal want to appoint Marc Overmars as their technical director but Ajax are refusing to release the former Gunners winger, who is under contract at the Dutch club until 2020.

There continues to be speculation over the future of under-pressure Chelsea head coach Maurizio Sarri.

According to the Sunday Times, Chelsea have spoken to assistant boss Gianfranco Zola about him taking interim charge.

And Fulham fear an exodus of players if they are relegated, with the likes of Aleksandar Mitrovic, Ryan Sessegnon and Tom Cairney likely to leave, according to the Mail on Sunday.
